Uganda Embassy, Havana gives Cuba a feel of Uganda during the 62nd Uganda Independence Day Anniversary celebrations held today 25th November 2024 at Melia La Habana Hotel.
The celebrations which were graced by Cuban Finance and prices  Minister, H.E. Vladimir Regueiro, Deputy Foreign Minister H. E. Elio Rodríguez, Ambassador  Luis Alberto Amorós, Director, Sub-saharan Africa  at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cuba,  Mr. Sergio Espinosa, Director of Africa and Middle East of MINCEX, scientists from Bio-Cubapharma and ESINES, members of the Diplomatic Corps, Ugandans and well wishers, show cased Uganda's culture through Ugandan cuisine, dressing and music, Uganda's tourism features were also highlighted at the celebrations.
In her remarks, Uganda's Ambassador to Cuba H.E Elizabeth Sylvia Musazi praised the blossoming relationship between Uganda and Cuba and informed of Uganda’s commitment towards a mutually beneficial relationship between Uganda and Cuba.
